We are very happy to now offer our Lokomat services at both our Norwood PhysioXtra Rehab Centre as well as our Marion clinic.

The Lokomat is the world‘s leading state of the art robotic rehabilitation device that provides highly repetitive and the most physiological movement training.

Robot-assisted therapy enables effective and intensive training to increase the strength of muscles and the range of motion of joints in order to improve walking.

PhysioXtra houses the only Lokomats available to private clients in South Australia.

Currently there are only 5 Lokomats that can be used for adults and paediatrics in Australia and PhysioXtra own 2 of them. One located at Marion and the other at Norwood.

Our Norwood Rehab Centre also offers the ArmeoSpring. This rehabilitation tool uses gaming technology to improve function even in severely weakened arms. Armeo therapy is an easy and effective complement to physical or occupational therapy and other rehabilitation methods. By providing arm weight support, the ArmeoSpring enables patients to use any remaining motor functions and encourages them to achieve a higher number of reach and grasp movements based on specific therapy goals.
