Lokomat

We proudly house a world leading robotic medical device, the ‘Lokomat’ at both our Norwood & Marion clinics. An innovative and state of the art robotic device that provides highly repetitive and the most physiological movement training. For our severely impaired patients, the physiological gait training is enhancing practical movement and improving daily living by increasing the strength of muscles and the range of motion in joints in order to improve walking.

Armeo

Also offering the ArmeoSpring at our Norwood clinic, this rehabilitation tool uses gaming technology to improve function even in severely weakened arms. Armeo therapy is an easy and effective complement to physical or occupational therapy and other rehabilitation methods. By providing arm weight support, the ArmeoSpring enables patients to use any remaining motor functions and encourages them to achieve a higher number of reach and grasp movements based on specific therapy goals.

Hydrotherapy

Our Marion clinic provides patients with a private Hydrotherapy pool equipped with an underwater treadmill to support rehabilitation along with a hoist for those needing assistance in entering and exiting the pool. The 32-degree pool allows the muscles to relax and ease the pain of the joints helping to make exercising easier. The water supports the body weight which helps increase the range of movement of the joints.

Rehabilitation Gym

Both Norwood & Marion clinics offer Rehabilitation Gyms stocked with the latest state of the art equipment offering our patients a safe, inclusive and private environment under the supervision and personalised support of our highly trained Physios.
