Adam Twelftree and Matt Luker saw the opportunity to provide a high level of patient care and experience in sports injuries to the people of the South Coast. The practice started from nothing in August 2011 and has had strong growth ever since thanks to the support of the local community. Matt and Adam are really enjoying the change of pace on the coast and are keen to build strong relationships with the local people, sporting clubs and businesses.

Adam Twelftree (PhysioXtra South Coast Director)
Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2003 and has been working with PhysioXtra ever since. He became a director at PhysioXtra Adelaide in 2008 and in 2011 opened the PhysioXtra South Coast branch with Matthew Luker.
Adam has a specific interest in sports physiotherapy and has covered teams such as Glenelg and Norwood football clubs in the SANFL and state basketball teams. He also has extensive experience in physiotherapy within the aged care helping reduce arthritic and muscular pain in the elderly. Overall Adam focuses in reducing and relieving headaches, neck and back pain, sporting injuries, arthritic pain, muscular aches and pains and workplace injuries. He can also aid in post-operative rehabilitation.
In his spare time, Adam enjoys playing sports, travelling, hiking and spending time with family and friends
Matt Luker (PhysioXtra South Coast Director)
Matt Luker has recently opened PhysioXtra South Coast and is enjoying the change of pace and sense of community in Port Elliot.
After graduating in 2003 Matt worked in the hospital system before spending 2 years working as a physio in the United Kingdom. He joined PhysioXtra in 2007 and has utilised the excellent training and development programs to enhance his sports and musculoskeletal physio skills. He was Glenelg Football Club's senior physio in 2009, physio for the State Indoor Cricket Team in 2010 and has fulfilled casual roles as senior physiotherapist in rehabilitation at the Repatriation General Hospital and Research Assistant at the University of South Australia.
Areas of interest include post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention and dry needling. Matt is heavily involved in Goodwood Cricket Club and has travelled extensively in Europe, South America and The Caribbean.
